From the intro, screams unleash a four-to-the-floor verse with a huge, aggressive vocal line from frontman Ash.

"This is a song about rising up against oppression that will resonate with many people in the modern world, Mask Of Lies brings an unstoppable chorus with call and response clean and scream vocals. A chorus that is sure to impress live. VICOLO INFERNO Unleash Video "Cold Surface" Off Third Studio Album "Circles" Out May 2024

Rockshots Records is proud to present their latest signing of Italy's VICOLO INFERNO for the release of their third studio "Circles", which will be available on all streaming platforms along with CD this coming May 2024. Instinctive, energetic, melodic, dark, and intense, this is the quartet's most mature and experimental recording to date.

"Circles" like its predecessor dances among various colors of the soul, from the most intimate and convoluted to the angry, to the amused and ironic. The track listing was chosen to guide the listener through a journey. The writing process for this record has been consolidated for years, although somewhat against the current.

Originally producing about 20 tracks, they widdled it down to the presenting 10 songs on the album, those not selected will be used for a future release. Vicolo Inferno hopes that those who listen to this sonic exploration from start to finish will feel the introspective expressions while understanding their interpretation of social criticisms, fantasies, and telling of comical experiences they have lived through as a band.

The lead single "Cold Surface", which the band is presenting today, is the album's most energetic and complete.

"Cold Surface" is an (introspective) of the difficulty of two people in being on the same wavelength, sometimes ending up being "distant" even if in the same room." adds the band.

FOLKRIM unleashes folk-infused death metal fury "Bottle Of Poison"
New Full-Length "Embers" Out April 2024 via Rockshots Records

Folkrim, emerging from the dark solitude of Finland's western coast, has evolved from a one-man project to a fully formed folk-infused death metal band. Comprising drummer Eetu Ritakorpi, guitarists Iiro Sarman & Otto Hyvärinen, bassist Viktor Suominen, and frontman Erno Helander, Folkrim is ready to spread fear with their new full-lenght album, "Embers".

The slithering earworm sounds of Stormborn's power metal force are presented in their latest music video for the single "Serpentine" off their forthcoming album "Zenith" due out this coming April 2024 from Rockshots Records. "Serpentine" is a roaring power metal anthem inspired by The Liveship Traders, a trilogy of fantasy novels by American author Robin Hobb. The song is about a ship possessed by the soul of a dragon and features a guest solo from one-time Stormborn guitarist Dan Smith and showcases the band firing on all cylinders with its high-flying chorus.

Hailing from Kent, UK, the melodic heavy metal powerhouse of Stormborn draws inspiration from metal titans like Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, and Dio, but still blazes a unique trail of their own in heavy metal, crafting a sound that fuses classic elements with bold, modern innovation. Stormborn isn't just walking in the footsteps of giants; they're crafting a new path in heavy metal, dominated by great riffs, a strong melodic backbone, and powerful vocals that you can't help but sing along to.

The band's career highlights include supporting Rhapsody of Fire at the Camden Underworld in 2023, winning the 2012 Metal 2 the Masses for London, playing at Bloodstock festival, winning the 2013 Summer Breeze New Blood award, and opening the main stage of Summer Breeze Festival 2013 along with being UK tour support for Dorje as well as Phil X & The Drills.
