Hey Fans, Friends and Fiends,
We just wanted to reach out during these hard times to let you know we haven't forgotten about all of you. These times are especially difficult for everyone, not just the music industry. While it's probably for the best, it sure does suck, not being able to perform live for all of you. We miss it just as much as you probably do, if not more. We can't wait to get the new record to you either. We have restructured and reshaped the sound again, to bring you something u can sink your teeth (fangs, etc.) into.
While we are utilizing this downtime to work, we were forced to do everything from our individual houses, so we moved out of studios and into our cribs so that we can continue to push forward with the record.
However, we had been sitting on a video for the song "Spells" directed by Mykyta Samusiev, produced by Anna Tveritina and Visual Effects, Director, Producer Henry Lipatov. We figured (even tho so much has changed regarding the sound of Orgy since then), why not at least release the "Spells" video on all major platforms, & give it away to any of you that want it.
That being said we hope u enjoy it.
We hope the video will at least be a distraction from all the drama going on out there!

GOST exists in the dark crack between black metal and the most shadowy end of electronic music. Since the release of the Radio Macabre EP at the start of 2013, and the remorseless digital nightmare of their Skull debut album six months later, Texas-based multi-instrumentalist, producer, and main-brain James Lollar has become an increasingly singular force in music. Far more aggressive and sinister than the synthwave he’s often grouped with, GOST is a harsh and unique digital nightmare that takes the listener right into the heart of the abyss.
Now GOST returns with their sixth album, Prophecy. Unquestionably their most exhilarating and dangerous sounding work to date, Prophecy is a record that perfectly reflects the horror and grim anxieties of a world beset with religious and political overreach, and progress, “being rolled back to the fucking 1950s.”
“It's about an imaginative fall of the Western civilization, the biblical end of the world – the rise of Satan and Armageddon,” says Lollar. “In America, there's been a big rise of scared, reactive Christianity again, and almost like a re-emergence of the Satanic Panic. So it felt like an appropriate time to bring Satan back into things.”
Recorded alone in Texas during a burst of creativity at the end of 2022, Prophecy is the perfect vessel for such things. Following the experimentation and more melodic touches of 2019’s Valediction, Lollar says it also acts as something of a return to older roots, to recapture the spirit of GOST.
“When Valediction came out, COVID hit, and I guess people weren’t so into art while the world was on its knees,” he says. “I also wanted to reconnect with some of my older fans who maybe didn’t feel that album so much. I wanted to go back in time and bring some of the older shit back, some of the older sounds.”

Music video for Ministry - "Lies, Lies, Lies"As spring 06 turns into summer, we can’t remember a time when our fellow citizens seemed angrier at the Federal government, or were more suspicious about official stories. Polls suggest that a majority of Americans now believe that the President and his men have misled the American public. Some artists have, understandably, turned away from politics altogether, disgusted with the entire process. But Ministry’s Alain Jorgensen isn’t the sort of writer who backs away from controversy – or from his feelings of rage and betrayal. Since 1992 Ministry has been Jorgensen’s vehicle for some of the fiercest critiques of the status quo heard anywhere in popular music.Grammy® winning Ministry have made a career out of confrontational sound and content. Arguably the originators of industrial metal, Ministry showed that groove music could be just as ferocious as metal. Since the Nineties, Ministry’s songs – and lyrical content – have only gotten heavier.The album peaks with “Lies, Lies, Lies”, a remarkably candid statement of disbelief in the official line on the Iraq War and the catastrophic events that led up to it. The song opens with sound clips borrowed from Dylan Avery’s incendiary documentary Loose Change – a powerful touchstone for those who believe the Bush Administration has covered up crucial facts about the 9/11 attacks. Over some of the heaviest beats in Ministry history (and that’s saying something) Jorgensen spits lyrics about government deceit, and punctuates a grinding guitar riff with a guttural cry of “lies!” that sounds as if it’s coming from the burning throat of an infernal judge. His conviction and his outrage are equally scalding.Here at HIP, we’ve certainly seen our share of anti-administration videos over the past six years. But we don’t think we’ve ever gotten one with more visceral power than director Zach Passero’s hypnotically engrossing clip for “Lies, Lies, Lies”. What’s so remarkable about it is that it isn’t really over-the-top at all – instead, it communicates its message of resistance through gestures of fear and bewilderment. Passero’s stationary camera scans the interior of a quintessential, television-dominated suburban home. As the people inside sit entranced by the motion pictures, an Arab bogeyman stalks the outdoors, just beyond a living room window. The family members respond as they might have been taught in a Cold War video, ducking and covering under the kitchen table. But there’s nothing parodic about this clip, and it’s shot with a curious coldness and a strangely antiseptic feel that leaves no doubt about the director’s feelings. All of the everyday objects inside the house seem to take on a too-still quality – they radiate terror and claustrophobia. Possessed, the eldest boy stares at the camera and fingers at a plastic raygun. In the next shot, he sits in the barber’s chair, shorn of his locks and wearing fatigues. Still in a trance, he leaps up from the chair, and follows a procession of marching skeletons – led by George W. Bush.

"Electric (Rage)" shows Ghost in the Machine hasn't forgotten where they've come from. Reworking their 1999 hit and fan favorite "Electric (Rave)", "Electric (Rage)" is maniacal and amplifies the original intensity. The angst filled Industrial electronic anthem is updated with modern production and leans into #cybergoth and #cyberpunk with its high-tech energy and #dystopian #futuristic vibe.
The video is a visualizer at its core. Images morph and swirl on the screen, creating a disorienting effect. Electricity and lightning dance across the screen, adding to the sense of chaos and energy.
"Electric (Rage)" is filled with angst, reflecting the dark and dystopian future that the song envisions. The song is a call to arms, urging listeners to rage with the machine for a better future.
