The Third single taken from "Montecristo", sixth album by the Italian power metal band Great Master.

Moved by envy, Danglars, the ship's scribe and candidate for the appointment of captain, organizes a trap to frame Edmond with the complicity of Fernand Mondego, in love with Mercédès, and Gaspard Caderousse, Dantès' envious neighbor. An anonymous letter is thus written, with the left hand so as to make it unrecognizable, in which he denounces Edmond accusing him of being a Bonapartist agent. The letter ends up in the hands of the public magistrate Gérard de Villefort. The latter immediately understands Edmond's innocence, but out of scruple asks the young man to show him the missive that Dantes brought from the Island of Elba without knowing its contents: the magistrate is shocked by the reading and, while reassuring the young man, he burns the evidence and issues an arrest warrant against him to protect his personal interests.

For the opening track and first single ‘Morning Star’, based on the fall of Lucifer, the band showcases their proficiency in fusing classic metal with other heavy elements with quite a few twists and turns along the way. With a bombastic rhythm section spear-headed by Evensand and Biggs, to the melodic and brilliantly executed guitar work of Niemann and Hallgren, culminating with the ferocious Engberg, whose voice soars, ‘Morning Star’ takes the listener on a relentless journey through the kingdom of Pandemonium and hell itself. Kristian says: “I came up with the majestic opening guitar line while I was in the gym, I remember that distinctly. I grabbed my phone and sang the line into the voice recorder, as I always do when I get ideas. I didn’t think much of it and promptly forgot all about it until it was time to write songs for the album. I had about 150 riffs and ideas that I went through and this one immediately grabbed my attention. I’m super-happy with this track and it sounds exactly how I envisioned it when I first started working on it. The guys in the band KILLED it, everybody played and sang their asses off”.

Working once again with esteemed engineer and mixing maestro Eike Freese, Endseeker hit the studio like a nailbomb in a graveyard. The result is "Global Worming" - both the Germans' finest creation to date and a pulverising new template for old school death metal. These nine new songs remain rooted in Endseeker's beloved bedrock of DISMEMBER-style savagery, but from the slithering monstrosity of the opening title track and the ultra-catchy stab 'n' stomp of Hell Is Here, to the neck-wrecking madness of Our Only Life and the epic grandiloquence of closer Nemesis, Global Worming is an unusually vivid and versatile piece of work.

"I guess our main goal was to write a record that was at least as good as Mount Carcass and to follow the path we have set with that record even further," says Ben. "We wanted the songwriting to be more on point while at the same time to be a bit wider when it comes to the boundaries of the death metal genre. We wanted the songs not only to be heavy and brutal but also to have a certain atmosphere to give them real depth."

Tracking the album at First Avenue Studio in Newcastle upon Tyne, they further demonstrated their trust and rapport with past collaborators, recruiting engineer Dave Curle and Dario Mollo to handle the mix, letting them handle the technical side of things so the quintet could focus all of their energies on giving the best performances. Confident in the songs they had written and how they wanted them to sound made the process a very easy one, walking out of the studio with a record of which they are understandably proud, and will reign supreme in the speakers and headphones of metalheads the world over when it drops in Septmeber 2018.
