"I believe we had this idea to record a new version of “Pisces” when we first rehearsed the song with Vlad Ulasevich as a new drummer. His drumming makes the song sound really different. So we finally had some free time last winter, we went to Istok studio in Kiev, did a live recording and shooting, then added over some extra lines, like a few backing vocals and guitars, then Max from Morton Studio made this new magnificent version of mixing and here we are - Pisces video. About S.O.R.M:
Forming in 2017, S.O.R.M are a hard rock/heavy metal act from Lidkoping, Sweden. Shortly after the band's inception S.O.R.M released the outstanding "Hellraiser EP" (2020, Noble Demon) and introduced the band to the world with the hook laden lead single and video clip "Gypsy Queen". Confirming its place as an act capable of appealing to a wide heavy music audience through the bands merging of contemporary and traditional hard rock and heavy metal, S.O.R.M offered an appeal to fans of acts such as Grand Magus, GHOST and Night Flight Orchestra through to the icons of the genre, WASP and Judas Priest. In 2020 the band with the members Micke Holm (Guitar and Vocals), Johan Östman (Bass) and Robin Wernebratt (Drums) signed with the newly established label Noble Demon and joining acts such as Night Crowned, Dawn Of Solace, No Raza and Gomorra.

The band is currently preparing for the release of their debut album, due out in 2023 via Noble Demon. So keep your ears peeled for more news and tunes to follow soon!

To celebrate their next passage in their 30th anniversary voyage, Enslaved launched the Cinematic Tour 2020 live album + DVD pre-orders. 'The Crossing' captures an otherworldly performance of their classic song through a new modern lens.

Recorded on a dark day in summer 2020 at USF Verftet in Bergen, Norway, the performance is taken from Enslaved's upcoming live release Below The Lights (Cinematic Tour 2020), which sees the band play their acclaimed opus Below the Lights in its entirety. It is one part of their four new live album/DVD Cinematic Tour 2020 collection due to be released on June 25th.

Written whilst Mork's mainman Thomas Eriksen was on a road trip, ‘Bortgang’ Norwegian for ‘demise’ , was inspired by the beautiful Nordic countryside. Thematically the song explores the idea of legacy and it’s various interpretations from both the perspective of the deceased and those that were left behind.

Musically the song showcases a mid-paced style that builds on the signature sound that Mork have been crafting thus far. Exploring more dynamics and representing even more depth than past releases. ‘Bortgang’ shows just how far Mork have come from their humble beginnings ten years ago and is a fantastic introduction to the world of ‘Dypet’.

Regarding the song, Thomas Eriksen had the following to say:
“One of my most beautiful poems, to date. Written whilst on a roadtrip in Norway, in a beautiful fjord somewhere in western Norway (ca. 2020). The poem is about passing away and what that might mean to you and the ones left behind. The music was also something I was very pleased with, feeling it was the most beautiful piece of music I’ve written thus far. One day I figured to combine the two, and there you have the song.”

Dana Dan is a graphic commentary on sexual assault and the need to eliminate it. It begins with the reflexive, almost homicidal rage we feel when we hear about these crimes, before moving on to a more level headed call to arms. It culminates in a gentle appeal for all of us to reflect on the role we play in creating a world where atrocities of this nature are committed and to work towards eliminating it altogether.
