"Loud Wind" is the title track and the first song on the coming new album, due August 2019.
VAK is back from the dead! During 2018, one member turned gravely ill from Lemierre’s syndrome and a thrombose in the head. There was little hope, anything could happen, but fortunately he recovered and VAK are back from the dead with their new album “Loud Wind”! The music from the Swedes in VAK is hard to grasp. They combine aggressive melodies with precise and potent rock experiments. “Loud Wind” is mixed and mastered by Magnus Lindberg (Cult Of Luna).
The title track lyrics address a loosely organized network of rebel groups gathering to encounter in an uprising, which the power in charge only will experience as a forceful loud wind. The music is equally forceful and rebellious.

Position | Momentum, the follow up to 2020’s The Eye Is The First Circle doesn’t ease up on intensity; if anything, giving the chaos a little more room to breathe has shaped Calligram into something even more formidable than before.
Sonically they have further refined their amalgamation of bilious D-beat punk and ice cold black metal. The results are as abrasive as one would hope, but ceding space to atmospheric passages helps create a claustrophobic, ominous ambience to proceedings; allowing some light in only serves to accentuate the darkness further.

About S.O.R.M:
Forming in 2017, S.O.R.M are a hard rock/heavy metal act from Lidkoping, Sweden. Shortly after the band's inception S.O.R.M released the outstanding "Hellraiser EP" (2020, Noble Demon) and introduced the band to the world with the hook laden lead single and video clip "Gypsy Queen". Confirming its place as an act capable of appealing to a wide heavy music audience through the bands merging of contemporary and traditional hard rock and heavy metal, S.O.R.M offered an appeal to fans of acts such as Grand Magus, GHOST and Night Flight Orchestra through to the icons of the genre, WASP and Judas Priest. "’Broken’ is a song that's been in our demo folder for a couple years now,” explains guitarist Jeff Wilson. “For some reason it just never fit into the tracklist on a proper album until now. It's definitely got the vibe of our earlier material, which was something we were aiming for this time; it's also the perfect closer for this record."

The new album, ‘Earth Will Shed Its Skin,’ comes out worldwide April 28th. Engineered by Jeff Wilson and Tyler Watkins, with Tyler handling mixing and mastering with artwork was created by Valnoir/Metastazis (Alcest, Amorphis, Behemoth, Ulver). “"I feel like every one of our albums ends up having an oddball track. Not that the song is out of place from the others, but it tends to push the boundaries of what we're totally comfortable with at the time of recording,” explains guitarist and band founder Jeff Wilson. “That track this time around was, ‘The Nail.’ We wanted to try some new instrumentation for this record, but this almost has an Alice in Chains goes country vibe in the first half, before retreating into utter chaos when Mac Gollehon shows up with a trumpet solo... some definite firsts for the band."

´Sullen´, being the first track written for" Corrosion of Hearts", has an interesting background. The main riff theme within the track was actually also the first track written for an album we started working on directly after "To Lay Like Old Ashes" was released, 13 years ago. For various reasons, that album never came to fruition yet the main riff, whilst slightly different at the time, survived. Whilst it carries a different feel to our previous work, It felt like a good starting point to pick up the pieces that were left behind so long ago when we decided to rebirth the band. "Corrosion of Hearts", as an album, feels like we had the opportunity to write additional melodies that we didn’t have the time to do during the recording of our previous album. Allowing us to deliver a bigger soundscape carried by epic melodies within an atmospheric way. Now, being able to expand further and venture into new waters. ´Sullen´ is an important track for us as it was the catalyst for Austere reigniting the flames that essentially are burning within us.
