Lyrically the song is about taking the light from the dark.
“It's about people who confuse extreme sarcasm and negativity with being cool & mysterious, when it’s just unpleasant” says Grog.
“We’ve all been through some shit right? It takes strength to start being openly kind, decent and positive - it doesn’t mean you’re weak or cheesy.
The other part to this is that you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover. So many people play mean and then you discover they perform secret acts of kindness all the time without telling people”.

We bandy the word ‘love’ around and use it for such a wide range of feelings and expressions, but it’s still one of the hardest things for us to talk about and show. It’s not fluffy, it’s fearless and righteous. During this unique time of lockdown and quarantining during the Covid19 pandemic a light is being shone on all that has been neglected, on all that needs attention, on all that is crying to be fixed. It’s asking us to hold ourselves accountable. This song reflects the uncomfortable sensation that arises when we do that, when we sit and listen in to all the times we didn’t act when we should have, when we realise we have turned a blind eye to what’s important for the sake of comfort, when we see the truth of where that has led us. But rather than torture ourselves, it is also a call to reconnect to our core values, allow ourselves to be vulnerable, admit we’re not blameless, and then be brave enough to move forward with courage and compassion. Freedom and innocence felt so good when we started out, that purity is still there at our center, even if covered by layers of life-grime and defensive barriers of our own creation. Remember who you are. You’re me and I am you.

The Start Or The End.
Independently made video by Die So Fluid for the release of the new single July 18, 2021. Capturing a moment in time, reflecting on loss and recovery, through a visual story of contrasts.
The video was filmed and edited by Grog in Los Angeles, her home for over a decade now, and where she has been increasingly moved by the burgeoning homeless crisis and the ever expanding gulf between the have and have nots. Grog filmed at some of the newly sprung up satellites of skid row including the doorstep of Venice Beach.
It's a problem all around the world. For a practical way to help all those in need, below is a link for World Central Kitchen whose mission is to use the power of food to nourish communities and strengthen economies through times of crisis and beyond.

Don Giovanni - Lieder Distortion - a rockrhapsody from the opera by Mozart
Lieder Distortion
First, Don Giovanni is one of my favorite operas. I have seen it and sung parts of it many times and especially the death scene is very powerful music. As the inspiration of rock rhapsody through the ages, my idea was that we should do a rhapsody of the death scene in Don Giovanni. The inspiration naturally comes from Mozart's opera, Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody, Rhapsody in Rock with Robert Wells and the film Amadeus
There is so much music being released every day that I have had a hard time motivating myself to record and release something under my own name. But with Lider Distortion, I can actually feel that this record is not done. Somehow, I think there is a small gap to fill here. Then I am aware that this is a niche but it is exactly what I like. In those days when you advertised an album on TV or wanted to have a big radio hit, it should ideally appeal to a lot of people, or at least many people shouldn't dislike the song, but I still believe and hope that the digital world will be able to accommodate a greater flora and greater diversity than the old media landscape could. Classical music repertoire of Mozart, Vivaldi, Schubert and others. Music made long before the world we live in today today. The spirit is free and the music is free.

The band have seen a massive growth after three of their songs was featured in the Peacemaker HBO series. Feb. 15th they released their first single "Sunrise Over Sunset" from their upcoming album. Reapercussion is the second single out, and is yet another party banger!
