New Wave of British Heavy Metal stalwarts RAVEN unleash the ear-splitting title track ‘All Hell’s Breaking Loose’, taken from the upcoming album, out this Friday, June 30th via Silver Lining Music.

The video features co-founding bassist and vocalist John Gallagher restrained in a straitjacket with his mouth gaffer-taped shut, followed by scenes of explosions and destruction. Musically, ‘All Hell’s Breaking Loose’ twists and turns with accents and flavours buried inside the chaos, perfectly capturing the sheer desperation felt by us all especially whilst in lockdown, during the global COVID-19 pandemic.

“Lyrically the song is about the constrictions of being locked down during the pandemic and the desire and need to ‘break free’ from it all or risking going insane…” explains co-founding member and guitarist Mark Gallagher. “It’s about taking control of your freedom!” Mark exclaims.

“‘All Hell’s Breaking Loose’ is a kick-ass song starting with Mark laughing his head off, which we took from another part of the recording session and glued on to the intro ‘cause it just sounded killer crazy!” enthuses John. “It then gets into this straight, “real” RAVEN riff... the part before the chorus is super heavy... 100% in yer face kill your neighbors heavy metal!!”

To realize "Savage Sinusoid" as a completely sample-free record, Serre reunited with vocalists Laurent Lunoir and Laure Le Prunenec, along with drummer Sylvain Bouvier, and collaborated with more musicians than on any of his previous releases - one of those guests being Cattle Decapitation's Travis Ryan, who lends his vocals on "Cheval", "Apopathodiaphulatophobie" and "Robert". While Savage Sinusoid draws from a plethora of genres, Serre has no intention of baffling or alienating potential listeners. As he explains:"I just want to make the music I love, without asking myself if it's gonna be too complex or too far from what people like. I want to make the music which has sense to me, with no restrictions, like a big party with metalheads, electronics nerds, classical and baroque-heads and gypsy violinists getting drunk and joining together to bring the best of every genre."

Following the release of the first single "Withered & Decayed" (feat. Milo Silvestro of FEAR FACTORY), REPENTANCE follows up today with a lyric video for the album's opening track "Buried By Fear".

Guitarist Shaun Glass comments: "When we first started up the early jams of this song I knew it was something special & 100% was going to be a absolute bruiser of a song. Fast forward to June at the return of Milwaukee Metal Fest we debuted the song live for everyone and it was quite the response and for us as well! I can 100% say this track will punch you in the throat but in a good way!"

Vocalist Adam Gilley adds: "Buried by Fear is a smash to the face right from the start. It has the thrash and the groove to keep you moving. The song is about the fear of the unknown, the fear of death. Not knowing what is to be offered on the other side."

Founded in 2018 by former SOIL and DIRGE WITHIN guitarist Shaun Glasss, REPENTANCE is a primal aggressive metal band; laden thick with heavy slabs of groove mesh that bleed intensity. Would you submit yourself to human torture to go beyond your limits to expressing art?
Voluntary suffering for the greater goal in pursuit of artistic excellence is what one of the members of cathartic black metal band GAEREA (PT) went through for the visualisation of ‘Dormant’.

The video (recorded by the great Claudio Marino, distinguished for working with giants like BEHEMOTH, WATAIN, SHINING) simply can’t be classified as a music video to give visualisation to the song. It’s an 8 minute excruciating compilation of being waterboarded, trapped in a cycle of unending pain, with each passing moment feeling like an eternity, time becomes the cruellest enemy.

GAEREA comments: “Complementing the song's aural journey, the video art installation accompanying "Dormant" delves into the anguish and struggle for survival. The visuals depict the main character, trapped and enclosed in a tormenting world, as water relentlessly pours over his body, simulating drowning and suffocation. This immersive and visceral experience offers a harrowing glimpse into the protagonist's fight for life, evoking a range of emotions and challenging viewers to confront their own mortality.”

Un travail acharné et plusieurs albums exceptionnels ont propulsé Powerwolf au sommet du power metal allemand. Le groupe confirme sa suprématie en livrant des shows grandioses qui sidèrent ses fans. Powerwolf mérite sans l’ombre d’un doute sa place au panthéon du metal.

Lorsqu’ils décident de créer un groupe de power metal, les frères Greywolf trouvent rapidement de quoi constituer leur meute. Un guitariste (Matthew Greywolf), un bassiste (Charles Greywolf), un batteur et un organiste ; il ne manque plus qu’un dernier élément pour parfaire le tout : une voix. Et voilà qu’arrive un beau jour Attila Dorn, qui suit alors une formation en chant lyrique. Le clan est désormais au complet et le résultat ne se fait pas attendre : une bonne grosse dose de power metal agrémentée de subtils clins d’œil musicaux.
